Information Provided By Users
The information Altruista Health receives depends on your activity when visiting Altruista Health's Web sites. Registering for trainings, programs and events may require that you provide Altruista Health with defined information, enabling Altruista Health to enroll you and/or contact you. Altruista Health also collects certain types of anonymous information (provided voluntarily) on its Web sites. For some programs, properly registered and authenticated providers may submit case information, make requests for authorization to deliver services and view previously provided case information. Altruista Health may also make claims payment status information available to these providers via the Web.
Information Collected By Your Web Browser - Cookies
"Cookies" are files that are saved on your computer to assist your browser in performing certain tasks and remembering prior activities. Altruista Health uses a "session cookie" for navigation purposes that is active only during your session. Altruista Health cookies do not track or report your activities.
Collection of Information By Third-Party Sites and Sponsors
Third-party sites and sponsors do not have the ability to collect personal information from the computer you are using when you are directly viewing an Altruista Health Web site. To provide you with the best services possible, Altruista Health may make third-party sites available to you through Altruista Health Web sites. If you have identified yourself to an Altruista Health Web site, APS may pass the company code, username and password you provide to its partner sites when you elect to visit these sites from within an Altruista Health Web site. How Information Is Used

Chat Rooms/Email Address
Altruista Health provides access to public and moderated chat rooms and bulletin boards. Altruista Health may monitor these and remove materials it deems inappropriate or not relevant. Altruista Health may temporarily or permanently block users whose postings Altruista Health finds unsuitable, inappropriate, incorrect or libelous.
Voluntary feedback and survey questionnaires are used to determine and improve Altruista Health’s services to its users.
Altruista Health may provide newsletters and announcements to groups and individual users. Newsletters are provided on a periodic basis as a service to various member groups. General announcements regarding Altruista Health’s services will be sent as needed. Announcements that are specific to a particular group will be provided at the request of each group according to the contract. Altruista Health sometimes uses non-personally identifiable or "aggregate information" that it collects to improve the design and content of its site, to help Altruista Health personalize your Altruista Health experience and to provide general information to companies providing Altruista Health services to the company’s employees, members or associates.
