Moving the Needle in Care Management

Altruista Health, a HealthEdge company, has unveiled its latest release of the GuidingCare® platform. The new release includes innovations and enhancements to drive significant improvements in cost savings and health outcomes for all populations.

Altruista Health has revolutionized field-based care management support through an innovative, template-driven care planning system. This proprietary technology allows GuidingCare® Mobile Clinician to enable one-touch care planning, keeping the care manager fully engaged with the member while actively managing the care plan. Care managers will be able to quickly search, plan and edit the care plan while keeping their focus on the member.

We have also unveiled new values to the Clinical Search functionality supporting risk stratification at the member level, including creation of a risk composite score and criteria in homelessness. This enhancement helps care managers manage and assign members that need specialized intervention programs to the right care teams.

As customers continue to drive efficiency in automation of prior authorizations, the GuidingCare Authorization Portal can now trigger client-specific content in the form of a questionnaire based on the authorization template for authorization extension requests. Providers can use this guided questionnaire to request extensions or concurrent reviews.

In keeping with its robust API innovation strategy, Altruista Health is releasing new APIs for decision rules, authorizations and member eligibility.
